Indian team to kick start the CWC 2019 against South Africa

The mega event of the Cricket has already started but Indian team has not played a single game as their 1st game of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is against South Africa on 5th June at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.

South Africa has already played 2 matches and this will be their third match of the World Cup 2019. They have lost there both the games, first against the hosts i.e. England and the other match against the Bangladesh team in which they failed to achieve the target of 331, and it was the highest ever ODI total for the Bangladesh team which they had defended successfully. This win will be one of the biggest victories in their Cricketing history.

The Indian team will be facing the top teams in their initial phase of the ICC CWC 2019. The Indian team will face Australia in their 2nd match of the Cricket World Cup 2019 at the Kennington Oval, London and in their 3rd match, they will face New Zealand at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

The 4th match of the Indian team will be against their nation rival Pakistan. This two teams will meet on the cricket field after almost 9 months as they don't play series against each other due to relations between the two countries. The last time they both played was in Asia Cup 2018.

We can also say the mother of all battles to this rivalry but it seems that India is ruling the battle from their first meet in the CWC itself as the Men in Green had never defeated the Men in Blue in the Cricket World Cup in their 6 meets.
