South African fast bowler Dale Steyn out of CWC 2019
It is been a very disappointing start for the Proteas as they have lost their first two matches of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and the players are having injuries. The 1st match against England was a good fight but the 2nd match which they lost against Bangladesh was very bad because they failed in both the sections i.e. batting and bowling.
Before the 3rd match against India, the team got a big blow as their most experienced player Dale Steyn who was suffering from a shoulder injury was ruled out of the tournament. It is not the first time that he has been gone through this situation, he was ruled out from the IPL 12 after playing only 1 match of the season due to injury and was recovering from that injury and sustained another injury before the South Africa vs India match.
The problem of injured players is bothering South Africa as Hashim Amla was injured in the 1st match of the mega event while he was batting and got retired hurt. He came back for batting when the team was struggling but he failed to take his team to victory as he got out for 13 runs off 23 balls. Lungi Ngidi who is another fast bowler is also injured.
The Beuran Hendricks is named as the replacement for Dale Steyn and he will join the squad of South Africa for CWC 2019
